Paint Job – Variations is a collection of photographs of the paint covering the side panels of the Westbourne Bridge Terrace, in London.

To suppress graffiti, council workers applied patterns of colour and created a variation of designs reminiscent of abstract expressionism.
The variety of colour, shapes, sizes and placements conveys a dynamic structure evocative of a musical symphony or a language such as the Morse code. 

The work acknowledges and celebrates this unexpected, playful output.
